These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Toolbox, operated by The Toolbox ("we", "us", "our") at thetoolbox.online. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
The Toolbox provides software tools for tradespeople, including automated appointment confirmation and reminder messaging. We act as a platform — you are responsible for the jobs you add, the customers you message, and ensuring you have their consent to receive automated messages.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account with others or use the service on behalf of a third party without their consent.
You must be at least 18 years old to use The Toolbox.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice or refund.
When you add a customer's details and our system sends them a message, you are responsible for ensuring that customer has agreed to receive automated text messages from your business. We are not liable for any complaints arising from messages sent to customers who did not consent.
Message delivery depends on third-party networks (Twilio, mobile carriers). We cannot guarantee delivery of every message and are not liable for failed or delayed messages.
The Toolbox is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Pricing is as shown on the website at the time of purchase. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method monthly until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Free trial: New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No payment is taken during the trial. If you do not add a payment method before the trial ends, your account will be paused.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-month, you retain access until the end of the paid period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation.
We aim to keep The Toolbox available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be carried out with reasonable notice where possible. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime.
The Toolbox, its name, logo, and software are owned by us. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute any part of the service without written permission. Your data remains yours — we claim no ownership over job records or customer information you enter.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Toolbox is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost income, missed appointments, or failed message delivery.
Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Toolbox operates. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
