• Job information: customer names, phone numbers and appointment details you enter into the system
• Payment information: processed securely via Stripe — we never store your card details
• Messages you send us via the contact form

• IP address and approximate location
• Cookies (see Section 6)

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate The Toolbox service
• Send appointment confirmations and reminders on your behalf to your customers
• Process payments and manage your subscription

• Improve the product based on how it's being used

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Your customers' data

When you add a customer's name and phone number to The Toolbox, you are the data controller for that information — we process it on your behalf as a data processor. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share your customers' contact details with us and that your customers are aware their appointment may include automated reminders.

4. Data sharing

We share data only with trusted third-party services that help us operate:

• Twilio — sends SMS messages on your behalf
• Stripe — processes payments securely
• Hostinger — website and database hosting

All third parties are required to keep your data secure and may only use it to provide services to us.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we delete your data within 90 days unless we are legally required to retain it. Job records older than 12 months are automatically deleted.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of the site may not work correctly if you do.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
